Creating Robust & Testable REST APIs

Matt Oakes /Ribot

Session type: Case Study

Session duration: 45 minutes

About this Case Study

This talk will begin by giving a high-level description on how to design your API using REST best practices. We will then talk about how you can use API Blueprint and JSON Schemas to thoroughly document and test your API by creating a document which completely describes it. The example I will be using is from a Node.js REST API, however, the principles and ideas can be carried over to whichever language and framework you use.
