About this Tutorial

A Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) is the Middle-earth between hardware and software. In the last few years the availability of high level synthesis (HLS) tools enables FPGAs to be programmed using higher level languages like C.

About the Speaker

Matteo Vit is Principal Design Engineer at Starware Design Ltd where he specialises in hardware and software embedded systems design. During his career Matteo has worked on projects ranging from Top500 supercomputers to military flight simulators.

An in-depth working session on a specific topic. May include paper presentations.

Lightning Talks

Our Lightning Talk session is packed with small but perfectly formed talks and experience reports, delivered rapid-fire by a mix of experienced and brand new speakers alike.

Between 5 and 10 minutes long, they're a great way to learn quickly, and an even better way to test the water for a full talk or topic you're thinking of speaking about.
